busy busy busy!

Wednesday again... cant believe how quick the times flying!! And i'm on time this week!!!

we've had a busy few days, very unusual for us as we haven't seemed to do an awful lot these last few weeks!
Thursday and Friday last week we stayed in and caught up with house work and washing which is always so much fun!!!! on Saturday we went to the isle of wight for the day! it was such a nice day! my dad saw a deal on travel zoo for £5 adult returns so it only cost us £12.50 to get over and back for all 4 of us! bargain! they loved going on the boat which only took about 10 minutes!! when we got there the weather was horrible, soooo windy and rainy i thought we were in for a horrible day!! my brolly broke straight away which was quite funny! we went straight into the bowling alley to dry off! was Finley's first bowling experience and overall he wasn't that impressed (didn't understand that he had to wait his turn lol) then when our game had finished the weather was better, we then went to seaview wildlife encounter which was so much fun!! it was the best place I've taken the kids to see animals alot better than staunton and marwell!! they had birds everywhere just flying around and they could go in and stroke the wallaby's! they loved it!! definitely recommend that place for anyone going over there!! we walked back to ryde along the beach and then went into their little fair which was rubbish!!
Sunday i made the mistake of sorting through Finley's old clothes! now i have loads of baby clothes that we need to get rid of but no one we no has baby boys!! not a good idea!!! so Monday i spent the day cleaning cause i did nothing on Sunday, our friend Wendy and my sister Kate came round in the afternoon and then Taylor was back to karate in the evening which he absolutly loves! hes a completely different child when he goes there, hes so into it and listens to everything they say, he'll be my little sports star when hes older! yesterday we went to the farmhouse with Liz 'manicmonday' and our friend Charlene!! was meant to be more of us but that's another story!!!
we had such a lovely day! the kids were brilliant so we just sat ate drunk and had a good gossip! love days like that! my sister looked after Finley for me, was nice having a day with just me and Taylor not that i saw him much as he was following Brett round like his biggest fan hahaha!!
Today we are only going round my mums Liz's husband kindly done Taylor a copy of summerslam so we'll probably have that on the whole day!!

As for the topic this week my kids routine has gone to pot cause of these holidays! no bed until 10 getting up at gone 8 everyday (which isn't like them at all!!) normally they're both in bed around half 6 -7 depending on Taylor's activities, Taylor never had a routine which looking back was stupid cause he still doesn't get on well with routine now, he rarely goes to bed on time without a major fuss and still comes into our bed most nights! he never ever slept through the night!! when Finley was born he was such a good baby slept all night from 6 weeks old but then got a chest infection at 5 months and from then he hasn't slept much through the night either! hes good at going to bed and getting up very early but sleeping through the night isn't what Finley likes to do haha!! I'm used to it now though so it doesn't bother me!! routine definitely works better, you need time in the evening to relax and not have any noise around u!! something I'm slowly starting to forget with these late bed times!! from next week i am going to get them back into it so Taylor's ready for school or all 3 of us will struggle!!!!


right i better stop typing and get dressed or we'll end up doing nothing all day!! :-) cya!! x
